Training Leaders in Pediatric Cardiology: Dr. Franciele Regiane Rohden

We are highlighting Dr. Franciele Regiane Rohden from the General Pediatric Hospital “Niños de Acosta Ñu” in Paraguay. In 2023, Dr. Rohden completed a six-month training in Pediatric Cardiovascular Imaging at the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital in Madrid, Spain. Supported by Surgeons of Hope and esteemed doctors including Dr. Nancy Garay, Dr. Constancio Medrano, Dr. Enrique Maroto, and Dr. Fernando Ballesteros, this training has brought her advanced professional skills. Training included outpatient rotations, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and fetal echocardiography. These skills will greatly enhance the quality of pediatric cardiac care she provides, offering hope to countless children and their families in her community. Together, we are making a lasting difference. Thank you!
